Culture Minister to Inaugurate Summer Activities Tent

Doha, June 25 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, will inaugurate on Tuesday at Aspire Zone Garden, the summer activities tent for youth 'Summer 2012', organized by the youth activities and events department in the ministry. HE Dr. Al-Kuwari said that these activities are part the role being played by the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, to promote youth among citizens and residents in Qatar, stressing on the ministry's commitment to organize the summer activities on annual basis . He noted that the youth activities and events department in the ministry is keen on adopting group activities as an essential activity within youth organizations, praising the efforts, made in this regard, aiming to achieve the desired progress for the youth sector, which is an essential part in the strategy of the youth sector until 2016 in order to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030. HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, said Qatar is witnessing real progress under the leadership of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, calling for consolidating efforts to participate in this progress. He stressed that the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage is sparing no effort in supporting youth and developing their activities. For his part, director of the youth activities and events department in the ministry, Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al-Hajri pointed out that this is the first time that the department applies a new plan aims to develop a summer activity, noting that the new plan aims to achieve the best for the youth in Qatar, through organizing new and innovative events for them.
