Crown Prince receives German Ambassador; stresses importance of further building German-Bahraini ties

Manama, Nov. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today received His Excellency Alfred Simms-Protz, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness welcomed the German Ambassador to the Kingdom and highlighted the importance of further strengthening ties between Bahrain and Germany, which are based on shared strategic priorities. His Royal Highness then welcomed Germany’s participation at this year’s Manama Dialogue and reaffirmed his support to the advancement of collaboration efforts between the two countries. The meeting also presented a good opportunity to discuss issues of regional and international importance. In response, the German Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and highlighted Germany’s keenness to further strengthen ties with the Kingdom.
