Crown Prince praises France’s role in addressing international issues of concern

Manama, July 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of further enhancing bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and France, and building on the achievements of previous visits which have had a positive impact on strengthening bilateral agreements and ties across various fields. His Royal Highness then welcomed the Bahraini-French cooperation that exists across a number of sectors, including the educational, cultural, financial and banking sectors. In this regard, His Royal Highness praised the role France plays in supporting peace in the region, and its role in addressing international issues of concern. The Crown Prince further praised France’s continued commitment to combating terrorism and its ongoing initiatives aimed at confronting extremist ideologies. The meeting also presented an opportunity to discuss regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest. Ambassador Regnauld-Fabre expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and praised His Royal Highness’ role in supporting and further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
