Crown Prince meets Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince

Manama, July 9 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today attended a meeting held by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Safa palace in the Holy City of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, which was also attended by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims by the support provided to the visitors and pilgrims of the Two Holy Mosques. In this regard, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the establishment of major expansion projects taking place in the Two Holy Mosques, and the further development of its facilities. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad went on to emphasise the strength of bilateral and historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and highlighted the Kingdoms’ shared values and commitments towards addressing various regional and international issues. His Royal Highness reaffirmed Bahrain’s aspiration to further strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia across all sectors, a commitment shared by both His Majesty King Hamad and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman. The meeting also presented an opportunity to discuss regional developments, with both countries affirming their commitment to combatting all forms of terrorism and promoting peace and security across the region and the wider world, alongside regional and international partners. His Royal Highness went on to highlight the achievements and contributions of the coalition led by Saudi Arabia in both Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Renewal of Hope in order to secure and protect stability in Yemen. The meeting was also attended by the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Shaikh Khaled bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Royal Court Chief, His Excellency Abdulla bin Ibrahim Al Rumaihi and His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers.
