Crown Prince meets new Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain

Manama, July 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister this evening met Qi Zhenhong, the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the strength and importance of relations between Bahrain and China, and expressed his hope that the two countries will continue to further develop ties across a range of sectors. His Royal Highness went on to welcome Ambassador Zhenhong to Bahrain and wished him every success in his new role. His Royal Highness stressed the importance of the role played by exchange visits in further reinforcing bilateral ties across all levels, particularly economic and cultural ties. In response, Ambassador Zhenhong expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and welcomed His Royal Highness’ support for further enhancing relations between Bahrain and China.
