Crown Prince meets new CBB Chairman, and Board Members

Manama, Aug.19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the Central Bank of Bahrain’s (CBB) newly appointed Chairman, Mohammed Hussain Yateem and Board Members at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of further developing the Kingdom’s banking and finance sectors, and noted the Kingdom’s policies and strategies, which contribute to creating a robust and resilient economy that is tailored to attracting international investment. His Royal Highness then wished the CBB Chairman and Board Members every success in their roles. His Royal Highness praised the important role of the CBB in regulating the banking and finance sectors, and its commitment to further enhancing the quality of services provided by banking and finance organisations in the Kingdom. For their part, the Chairman and Board Members of the CBB expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and highlighted his continuous support to the banking and finance sectors. They went on to emphasise their determination to implement the strategies and policies of the CBB in order to ensure the continued development of the Kingdom’s banking and finance sectors. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, also attended the meeting.
