Crown Prince meets Egyptian President

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. His Royal Highness highlighted that President el-Sisi’s opening address sets the tone for the 11th edition of the Manama Dialogue, and that his participation underscores Egypt’s strong support to events which promote dialogue on ways to tackle strategic security issues. His Royal Highness then emphasised the key role Egypt plays in addressing key challenges impacting regional stability. In this regard, His Royal Highness stressed Egypt’s continuous support to GCC countries’ efforts to achieve long-term regional security. His Royal Highness went on to highlight that President el-Sisi’s visit to Bahrain reflects the depth and strength of bilateral ties which exists across various sectors. In response, President el-Sisi expressed his pleasure at participating in this year’s Manama Dialogue. President el-Sisi went on to extend his appreciation for the Kingdom’s continued support to Egypt’s growth and development, and wished Bahrain further prosperity.
