Crown Prince meets Conservative Middle East Council

Manama, Oct.31 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met a delegation of British Members of Parliament, the Conservative Middle East Council, headed by Sir Alan Duncan MP. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted that Bahraini-UK relations are built on deep-rooted ties between the two countries, and that these historic ties underpin positive collaboration across a range of areas. His Royal Highness welcomed the UK’s continued support to Bahrain’s domestic reform programme, stressing that reform is a sustainable and collaborative process and that the Kingdom remains resolute in achieving its goals under His Majesty the King's reform and development programme. His Royal Highness also highlighted that Bahrain’s continued collaboration with its allies and partners forms an important component of its domestic and international policy decision-making process. During the meeting His Royal Highness and members of the delegation also discussed a number of regional and international issues that were covered during this year’s Manama Dialogue .
