Crown Prince meets Chairman of Russian Development Bank, VEB

Moscow, Apr29(BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the Chairman of the Russian state-owned development bank Vnesheconombank (VEB), Vladimir Dmitriev. During the meeting, His Royal Highness stressed that business, trade and commerce are the mainstay of constructive and mutually beneficial relations between Bahrain and Russia. His Royal Highness expressed the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to enhancing trade links with Eurasian region, and in particular with Russia, as the major and thriving core of this market. His Royal Highness further noted the importance of seizing current trade and investment opportunities to maximise benefit to both countries. His Royal Highness praised the efforts of Mr Dmitriev in strengthening bilateral relations among Russian and Arab businessmen. He further highlighted Mr Dmitriev’s role in establishing the Arab Russian Bank in Bahrain, noting that it supports Bahrain’s standing as a financial hub in the region. In response, Mr. Dmitriev commended His Royal Highness’ commitment to developing ties between the two countries.
