Crown Prince highlights efforts to facilitate economic development, investment opportunities

Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Investcorp, Nemir Kirdar, and Executive Chairman of Investcorp, Mohammed Al Ardhi, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom's efforts to facilitate economic development and investment opportunities in Bahrain. His Royal Highness emphasised that Bahrain’s economic policies encourage the private sector to develop innovative investment tools, which contribute to creating a business environment that is conducive to economic growth and competition. His Royal Highness also noted Investcorp’s efforts in providing innovative investment solutions over the past 33 years. In this regard, His Royal Highness highlighted that Investcorp’s new strategy contributes to Bahrain’s strong financial standing in the region, as it aims to increase and strengthen its assets and products. His Royal Highness commended Investcorp’s contributions to various projects in the Kingdom, as well as its capacity in providing high-value jobs for Bahrainis. For his part, Mr. Kirdar expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and for his continued support for Investcorp’s Annual Investors’ Conference, where the bank’s new strategy was announced.
