Crown Prince appoints new Mumtalakat board members

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) today issued Edict No. 1/2016 appointing a new board of directors for the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat) for the term 2016 - 2020. The full Mumtalakat board of directors for 2016 to 2020, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, comprises Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism, Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, Khalid Omar Al-Rumaihi, Chief Executive Officer of Economic Development Board (EDB), Mahmoud Hashim Al Kooheji, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, Samir Al-Jishi, Khalid Humaidan and Elham Hassan. The term of this appointment will be for four years with immediate effect.
