Cross Year of Kyrgyzstan and Russia to be closed this autumn

Bishkek, July 25, 2022. /Kabar/. Officially the Cross Year between Kyrgyzstan and Russia is planned to be closed in the fall of 2022, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Zhamankulov said at a press conference on the results of the first half of 2022. He added that the proposal came from the Russian Ministry of Culture. "The appropriate arrangements are currently being made. The closing is planned for the fall of 2022," the minister said. The opening ceremony of the Cross Year between Kyrgyzstan and Russia was held on Feb. 27, 2020 in the Kremlin Palace with participation of leaders of the two countries.
