Credit card scam suspects arrested

Manama, June 25 (BNA): An Asian fraud gang have been arrested in possession of forged credit cards, said the General Director of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security One of the accused was first caught on Wednesday after making purchases, using forged credit cards in a number of shops. The suspect tipped off police about his fraudulent accomplices – a man and two ladies – who were all caught red-handed in a shopping outlet and the stolen items and forged credit cards were confiscated. The case will be referred to the Public Prosecution pending completion of legal procedures.
