Construction of Railroad Bed and Tunnels Completed in Samjiyon County

Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- The construction of Hyesan-Samjiyon broad-gauge railway progresses apace in Ryanggang Province, the DPRK. The Hyesan-Samjiyon Railway Construction Brigade under the 216 Division finished laying railroad bed and building tunnels and other structures in a little more than a year. The brigade conducted a number of blasting, including a blasting of 130 000 cubic meter earth, and continued the construction even in winter. Now, the brigade is building the Wiyon Youth Station, while planting trees in its surroundings. -0-
