Commander-in-Chief stresses reinforcing Gulf military action

Manama, Jan 10 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today talked about ways to meet regional threats and challenges targeting the Arab nation, as well as the need to further strengthening the joint Gulf military action and Arab collective effort. This came in the BDF Commander-in-Chief's speech at a seminar held by the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College as part of the programme of the first national defence course and the eighth joint command and staff course. Commander-in-Chief tackled the military training methods and ways to activate military rules through action, reaction, sense of response and anticipatory steps. He praised the key role played by the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College in preparing leaders and officers in accordance with the latest standards. The seminar was attended by BDF Chief of Staff Lt-Gen Diab bin Sagr Al-Nuaimi, Inspector General Maj-Gen Abdullah Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College Commandant Rear Admiral Abdullah Saeed Al-Mansouri, and a number of senior BDF officers.
