Commander-in-Chief receives US ambassador

Manama, Apr. 7. (BNA) – Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today the US Ambassador to Bahrain US Ambassador to Bahrain. The BDF Commander-in-Chief reviewed with the Ambassador the Bahrain-US relations of friendship and cooperation, and ways to enhance them in all fields, especially regarding military coordination and defence cooperation. They also discussed issues of mutual concern. Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yusuf Ahmed Mal-Allah and Director of Military Cooperation Brigadier-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces Central and the U.S. 5th Fleet Vice Admiral John W. Miller and the Head of the Office of Military Cooperation at the US Embassy to Bahrain Colonel Scott W. Rizer were present.
