Commander-in-Chief receives British Defence secretary

Manama, Sept. 29 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today the British Secretary of State for Defence Michael Fallon and his accompanying delegation. The BDF Commander-in-Chief lauded the deep-rooted bilateral relations in all fields, particularly in terms of exchanging military expertise and cooperation. He highlighted the long-standing ties bonding the two countries . They reviewed matters of mutual interest. Minister of Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma, British Ambassador to Bahrain Simon Martin, Inspector-General Major-General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yusuf Ahmed Mal-Allah, a number of BDF senior officers and the Military Attaché at the British Embassy here Lieutenant-Colonel Andrew Price were present.
