Coast Guard Commander commends cooperation with CTF-152

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): Coast Guard Commander Commodore Ala’a Abdullah Siyadi received Combined Task Force 152 (CTF-152) Commander of the US 5th Fleet Colonel Mohammed Khalaf Al Eid and the accompanying delegation on Thursday. He welcomed the guests, hailing the cooperation and coordination between the two organisations to create an advanced operational system to support maritime security. The meeting focused on the missions and duties of the Coast Guard and its role in securing regional maritime borders. The CTF-152 Commander was briefed about the functioning of the Maritime Operations Centre. He wished the Coast Guard further progress and success.
