Close Bahrain-Thailand ties, cooperation stressed

Manama, Dec.3(BNA)His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa deputised Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al-Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Khalifa and Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al-Khalifa to attend a reception party hosted by Thai Ambassador to Bahrain Vichai Varasirikul marking his country's National Day . Senior officials and diplomats also attended the ceremony which marked the 87th birthday of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid conveyed congratulations and greetings from HRH the Premier to the Thai monarch and friendly people, wishing the friendly Kingdom of Thailand further progress and prosperity. They hailed strong relations bonding the two friendly countries in all fields, affirming Bahrain's keenness to expand economic and investment cooperation. The Thai ambassador hailed the efforts of HRH the Premier to consolidate bilateral relations, commending Bahrain's development strides in various fields.
