Civil Defence continues training volunteers

Manama, July 11 (BNA): General Directorate of Civil Defence continued training security volunteers who are cooperating in protecting places of worshiping under the supervision of policemen. During the second training course at the Civil Defence School, the School Commander, Colonel Abdulaziz Rashid Al Amer, highlighted the importance to enhance prevention awareness between all segments in society to associate citizens in the protection of lives and property to make them active members in the comprehensive civil defence system. He hailed the participation of Bahraini women in the training and their active voluntary role. The Northern Governor, Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulmohsen Al Asfoor expressed while attending the training his thanks to the volunteers for carrying their national duties and civil defence for their services.
