China ready to allocate funds to start work on improvement of Deng Xiaoping Avenue in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 1, 2022. / Kabar /. Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen, during a meeting with Mayor of Bishkek, Emilbek Abdykadyrov, recalled that the municipal people's government of Qingdao is ready to allocate funds to start work on the improvement of Deng Xiaoping Avenue in Kyrgyz capital city. The Bishkek Mayor's Office said that today city services need to prepare a preliminary design. It is specified that during the meeting, issues of developing and strengthening further relations between the municipality of the capital and the cities of China, the implementation of the second phase of the project "Development of the road network of Bishkek", the start of the third phase and issues of accelerating digitalization in the capital were also discussed. In conclusion, the mayor thanked the Chinese government, the Chinese Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic for their contribution in improving the urban infrastructure and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation, the report said. Recall that a memorandum on the establishment of sister city relations between the municipalities of Bishkek and Qingdao was signed on December 22, 2021.
