China culture year will begin in Turkey in December

BEIJING (A.A) – November 23, 2011 – 2012 China Culture Year in Turkey will begin in Ankara on December 12, 2011. A reception will take place in the Turkish capital to mark the beginning of culture year activities, and an art exhibition titled "Colors from Silk Road", in which works of famous Chinese painters' will be exhibited, will open.  During the culture year, many literature, art, cultural heritage, radio and cinema, education events, and acrobatics and puppet shows will be held in Turkish cities particularly Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya, Mersin and Trabzon. Hundreds of ancient Chinese artifacts will be displayed in Turkey, while Chinese orchestras will give concerts. Also, a Chinese films week will take place in Turkey. The year 2013 will be celebrated as Turkey Culture Year in China.
