Chargé D'affaires Of Iraqi Embassy To Baku Participates In A Conference Of Islamic Solidarity

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - The Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Baku, Fadel Al-Shuwaili participated in the International Conference of Islamic Solidarity for Interfaith Dialogue, with the participation of representatives from 40 countries. "The conference, which was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations, condemned terrorism, extremism, ethnic and religious intolerance, targeting the historical treasures and religious temples by the terrorist groups and extremists, and crimes against humanity in the name of the Islamic religion," statement issued by ministry of foreign affairs said. The conference called for unifying the ranks to combat extremism, terrorism and aggressive separatism, which provoke new conflicts and waves of immigrants and refugees, by respecting the unified central role of the United Nations in these issues./ End
