Cairo Book Fair hosts Bahrain as Guest of Honour

Manama, Nov.17 (BNA): Bahrain will be the guest of honour at the 47th edition of Cairo International Book Fair, which will open on January 27 and run until February 10. The high organising committee chose the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of cultural cooperation bonding the two countries. The Bahrain International Book Fair hosted Egypt as a guest honour in its latest edition which was held in 2014. Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa stressed the Kingdom's strenuous efforts to build bridges with Arab countries. She paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi for consolidating joint relations.
