Cabinet secretary-general receives UAE ambassador

Manama, Mar. 18. (BNA) – Secretary-General of the Cabinet Dr. Yaser bin Essa Al-Nasser received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Abdul Ridha Abdulla Khoury. The UAE envoy described His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa as a role model at the GCC and Arab arenas regarding wisdom, statesmanship, interaction with the citizens, and keenness to reach out to them in order to be informed about their needs and aspirations. He said that HRH Premier's constant meetings with the citizens at his Majlis represented a platform to discuss domestic, GCC, Arab and international issues, which, he asserted, consolidated the keenness of the heads of diplomatic missions to attend those Majlises and benefit from the issues raised during them. Dr. Al-Naser affirmed the keenness of the government, led by HRH Premier, to strengthen the outstanding fraternal Bahraini-UAE relations, bolster bilateral cooperation and enhance joint GCC action in order to achieve more achievements, in light of the incessant support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Cabinet Secretary-General highlighted the solid Bahraini-UAE relations in various fields, wishing the Ambassador every success in assuming his diplomatic duties. The UAE Ambassador praised the long-standing relations between the two countries. He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its leadership for the interest and keenness on advancing bilateral cooperation.
