Cabinet Meeting Hails Positive Outcomes of 32nd GCC Supreme Council Summit

Doha, December 21 (QNA) - HE the Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah presided over the Cabinet weekly regular meeting held at the Emiri Diwan premises here on Wednesday. Following the meeting, HE the Deputy Premier and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud stated the following: At the outset of the meeting, the cabinet welcomed the results of the 32nd session of the GCC supreme council summit held in Riyadh on Muhrram 24-25, 1433 Hejira year, corresponding to Dec.19-20,2011, stressing that such results and particularly the riyadh declaration which included principles and trends giving a strong push to the GCC joint action march and further consolidating the GCC march to the welfare and well-being of the GCC member states and peoples. The Cabinet has highly evaluated the initiative of the custodian of the two holy mosques king Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al Saud of Saudi Arabia to bypass the stage of cooperation and merge into a single entity and union for the GCC states. It also hailed the Saudi Monarch's wisdom in running the meetings of the GCC supreme council summit the matter which has much contributed to the success of the summit and positive outcomes it has reached. The Cabinet discussed topics tabled on the agenda and: First- Approved a draft cabinet resolution establishing the constituent labours committee Second: reviewed the following topics and took the appropriate decisions: 1- A memorandum by the Ministry of Labour on the report of the ministerial committee set up to consider the ministry's proposals related to the qualifying and rehabilitating of Qatari job seekers. 2- A memorandum by the Ministry of Labour on the study it conducted on the public policies and the proposed mechanisms to naturalize jobs in various sectors. Third: Approved a proposal by the Civil Aviation Authority on holding talks in the field of air transport with the Republic of Gabon. (QNA)
