Cabinet General Secretariat Celebrates Qatar National Sports Day

Doha, February 12 (QNA) - The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers celebrated on Tuesday morning Qatar National Sports Day in presence of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud. The Cabinet General Secretariat's celebration comes in accordance to the Emiri decision No. (80) of 2011 which was issued by HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and stipulated that the state of Qatar shall cerebrate the Sporting Day on Tuesday in the second week of February of every year. The celebration kicked off with a march on the Corniche started from the General Secretariat headquarters. The participants then enjoyed the sports program which was prepared to mark the day. (QNA)
