Cabinet Chairman Zhaparov leaves for Minsk for EAEU meeting

Bishkek, June 20, 2022. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov has left for Minsk (Belarus) to participate in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic consists of: - First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev; - Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Ermek Ibrayimov; - Minister of Culture Azamat Zhamankulov; - Minister of Digital Development Talantbek Imanov; - Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Zair Chokoev; - Deputy Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Aibek Aidarbekov; - Head of the Eurasian Economic Union Affairs Department of the Unit for Preparation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers Eldar Alisherov; - First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Nurdin Alisherov; - Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Veronika Isaeva. The meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Minsk on June 20-21 in full-time format with the participation of heads of governments of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), observer states - Cuba and Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich. EAEU heads of government will discuss some issues related to the introduction of marking of goods with identification means in the Union, the establishment of a commission on cooperation and import substitution in priority and high-tech industries, and the Program of joint actions of the EAEU member states in the field of consumer protection.
