Business and Investment in Qatar Forum Holds Session

BERLIN, April 15 (QNA) - The Business and Investment in Qatar Forum held its first session here this evening entitled "Investing in the future: Qatar Vision 2030." Speaking at the session, HE Minister of Economy and Finance Yousuf Hussein Kamal, pointing out that the State of Qatar has now several global partners in various sectors, including oil, gas and money, making Qatar to possess expertise as well as money and oil, gas and vast market, which enabled Qatar to double its growth 16 times in the last five years with $ 60 billion budget at a minimum after it was no more than $ 5 billion 15 years ago. For his part, HE Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada said Qatar's focus on investment in the future where it has turned in the past five decades to the largest country that benefited from the gas and oil sector. He reviewed developments in Qatar's oil and gas production during the past five decades. He added that Qatar is applying strategic vision for the future through adopting the Qatar National Vision 2030 with active participation and wise management that has succeeded to invest in the future a matter which makes Qatar the best place for investments and industries of the future.(QNA)
