British queen hosts luncheon in honor of Turkish president

LONDON (A.A) - Queen Elizabeth II of Britain on Tuesday hosted a luncheon in the honor of Turkish President Abdullah Gul, who is paying a state visit to Britain. The luncheon was held at the Buckingham Palace closed to the news media and it was also attended by Turkish Deputy Premier Ali Babacan, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Turkish Ambassador in London Unal Cevikoz and Turkish Deputy Chief of Military Staff Hulusi Akar.        Gul and his spouse Hayrunnisa, accompanied by the Queen and Prince Philip, later visited an exhibition featuring a selection of Turkish items from the Royal Collection.
