Breitling as Bronze Sponsor for BIAS 2016

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): As part of the efforts by the organizers of the Bahrain International Airshow to involve the private sector to participate in major international events hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ahmed Al-Nemah, Acting Undersecretary of Civil Aviation Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications (MTT) and a member of the Supreme Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) signed a contract with Breitling to mark their bronze sponsorship of BIAS 2016. BIAS 2016, which is scheduled to be held at the Sakhir Airbase in the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 21 to 23, 2016 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and under the supervising of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and the Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of BIAS, is organized by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and Royal Bahraini Air Force and in cooperation with Farnborough International Ltd On this occasion Al-Nemah stated "We are pleased to have Breitling – the leading specialist of technical watches – as one of the sponsors of Bahrain International Airshow for the second time". His Excellency also extended his thanks and appreciation to Breitling’s management for their support and cooperation in making this event a success. On her part, Banan Yaquby, CEO of Yaquby Stores W.L.L. expressed her pride of this support saying "The official timekeeper and sponsor of 2016 Bahrain international air show, Breitling has demonstrated its strong and historic ties to aviation." It is worth mentioning that Breitling is one world’s major watch brands that have played a crucial role in the development of the wrist chronograph with strong ties with the aviation industry and a sponsor of the Breitling Wing walkers – the world's only aerobatic formation wing walker’s team – which participated in the previous editions of the Bahrain International Airshow.
