BMA-flood-affected schools to re-open on Dec 13

BANGKOK, December 12 (TNA) - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) announced Monday that all remaining flood-affected schools under the BMA's jurisdiction will re-open on December 13. BMA Permanent Secretary Charoenrat Chutikan confirmed that the remaining 91 schools, which are located in both heavily-flooded eastern and western areas of the capital, will reopen for the new semester Tuesday, as the flooding situation in the areas have been returning to normal. The City Hall acknowledged, however, parts of Bangkok's nine districts have remained flooded, including those in Thaweewatana, Nong Khaem, Bang Kae, Don Muang, Sai Mai, Bang Khen, Khan Nayao, Klong Samwa and Min Buri.
