Bishkek to buy 500 new buses before year-end

Bishkek, April 28, 2022. / Kabar /. Mayor of Bishkek Emilbek Abdykadyrov announced at a press conference how many and which buses they plan to purchase for Bishkek by the end of the year. He said that by the end of the year about 500 new buses will be bought. “120 electric buses are already being purchased, tenders have already been ratified. The European Bank for Reconstruction will also purchase 140 gas engine buses. In addition, the mayor's office plans to purchase modern low-floor buses for KGS 1 billion. The government also plans to assist in the purchase of another 150-200 buses,” he said.
