BIPEX 2015 inaugurated

Manama, Nov. 5 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa stressed that the growing confidence of investors in the local real estate market is owed to the government's measures to immunize the vibrant sector which contributes enormously to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). He was speaking as he inaugurated today the 8th edition of Bahrain International Property Exhibition (BIPEX) 2015, in the presence of ministers and senior officials from ministries, government institutions and real estate companies. The Deputy Premier said the real estate sector is booming thanks to the government's vision, effective partnership with the private sector and legal regulations taken to protect it from any irregularities which might tamper with the investors' interests. He lauded the government's efforts and cooperation with the judicial branch to protect the investors and buyers' rights, pointing out success in tackling the issue of stalled projects. He also praised Bahrain's sound and flexible real estate infrastructure which boosted Bahrain's competitiveness at the GCC and Arab level. The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the organising committee and Bahrain Engineers Society for organising the exhibition which is considered as one of the key functions on the specialised local exhibitions agenda which are gaining remarkable interest in Bahrain and abroad. BIPEX 2015 is an annual event that brings together major Bahraini real estate companies to highlight projects for investors and visitors. The exhibition also serves as a platform bringing together experts to exchange views and experiences in the real estate field.
