BDF Commander-in-Chief receives US navy officials

Manama, Aug. 26 (BNA): The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today the U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck and the outgoing Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and Commander of the Fifth Fleet Vice-Admiral John Miller, who introduced to him his successor Admiral Kevin Donegan. The BDF Commander-in-Chief expressed his thanks to Vice-Admiral Miller for his efforts to enhance bilateral military cooperation and coordination. He wished Admiral Donegan every success in assuming his new assignment and serving the best interests of both countries. They reviewed topics of common interest. The meeting was attended by Director of Military Security Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad and Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yusuf Ahmed Mal-Allah.
