BDF Commander-in-Chief receives Turkish military delegation

Manama, Mar. 9. (BNA) -- Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today Turkish Deputy Minister of National Defence Hassan Kamal Yar Deja and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to Bahrain. The Turkish delegation was briefed on BDF formation stages, various military units and its development during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Commander-in-Chief lauded the friendly ties bonding both countries and the advanced level of military cooperation. They reviewed topics pertaining to joint military cooperation and coordination. Defence Ministry's Under-Secretary Major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Inspector-General Major-General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi, Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Hatun Demirer and a number of senior BDF officers were present.
