BDF Commander-in-Chief meets US 5th Fleet commander

Manama, Jan. 18. (BNA) -- Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met here today the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and US 5th Fleet Vice-Admiral John Miller and his accompanying delegation. The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed Vice-Admiral Miller and lauded the deep-rooted ties bonding the two countries. They reviewed bilateral military cooperation and coordination and matters of mutual interest. Director of Military Security Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Inspector-General Major-General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi and Director of Planning, Organisation and Technology Rear Admiral Yusuf Ahmed Mal-Allah were present.
