BDF Commander-in-Chief meets Deputy Assistant of the US Secretary of Defence

Manama, April 1. (BNA) – Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met at the BDF's General Headquarters today the Deputy Assistant of the US Secretary of Defence Dr. Matthew Spence. The BDF Commander-in-Chief reviewed with Dr. Matthew Spence the existing friendly Bahrain-US relations, and ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation, especially in the military field. Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Director of BDF's General Headquarters Major-General Youssef Ahmed Al Jalahma, Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al Nuaimi, Director of Planning, Organisation and Technology Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah and the US Ambassador to Bahrain Thomas Krajeski were present.
