BDF Chief-of-Staff participates in GCCHMC meeting

Kuwait: May 11 – (BNA): The BDF Chief-of-Staff Major-General Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa led the Kingdom's delegation to the Meeting of Sixth Consultative GCC High Military Committee (GCCHMC) in the State of Kuwait attended by GCC Armies Chiefs of Staff. The meeting explored several topics which contribute in the future collective defence policy in compliance with the directives of Their Majesties and Their Highness the Leaders of the GCC countries to take more effective steps in building self-empowerment according to a comprehensive, uniform strategy that serves joint GCC security. The meeting also discussed several other military matters and projects. Major-General Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa expressed his delight to participate with his brethren the GCC Armies Chiefs of Staff in this consultative and exploratory meeting and to discuss with them all matters which boost the GCC military cooperation in line with the wise vision of Their Majesties and Their Highnesses the GCC leaders. The Chief-of-Staff praised the genuine brotherliness and faithful spirit of everybody which contributed largely in reaching considerable outcomes and recommendations of the meeting which will boost GCC integration, cooperation, security, stability and prosperity in the region, wishing all success to achieve the noble goals and to serve our brotherly countries and peoples.(IY)
