BDF Chief Commander attends "Sword of Abdulla" drill

Hafr Al-Baten, Apr29(BNA)BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa today paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to attend the final stage of the joint military drill "Sword of Abdulla". He attended the administrative military parade of the armed forces at the military parade square in King Khalid Military City in Hafr Al-Baten as well as the inauguration of the King Khalid Military City housing project. He expressed his delight at the invitation, describing the visit as a good opportunity to meet Saudi military officials and attend the military live ammunition drill and the housing project launch. BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa returned to Bahrain this evening. A H N
