BCCI participates in workshop on GCC railway project

Riyadh, Nov. 13 (BNA): Industrial sector committee and Transports & Logistics sector committee at the Bahrain Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) participated in a workshop held in GCC Secretariat General Headquarters here entitled "Economic returns and resettlement of support industries for GCC railway project." Transports & Logistics sector committee was represented by its Chairman Abdulhakeem Al-Shmeri and Vice Chairman Abdulwahid Qarata and the Industrial sector committee was represented by its member Abdulrahim Fakhro. Al-Shmeri underscored the importance of participating in such events in order to boost the volume of trade exchange among the countries in the region and affirmed BCCI’s keenness on supporting GCC railway project, which will benefit the Kingdom of Bahrain and its private sector. Bahrain's delegation proposed a number of recommendations that will be reviewed at GCC 15th Industrialists' Conference, to be held in Kuwait on November 25- 26.
