In Baku and Sumgait arosed problems with electricity

Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 26 /Trend / Most of Baku and Sumgayit areas started to experience problems with electricity at approximately 7:00 am (local time). According to preliminary version, problems with electricity occured as a result of power generation failure. The accident occured at Mingachevir HPS, as a result of a lightning strike, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations told Trend. According to witnesses, the electricity problems have also affected Baku Metro's work, traffic lights and internet connection. Many key roads of Baku traffic control junctions were implemented by the traffic police. The power cuts did not affect the cellular network, television and radio.
