Bahrain's Interior Minister receives former New York City Mayor

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today former Mayor of New York City  Rudy Giuliani and his accompanying delegation. The Bahrain Ambassador to the United States and the Chief of Public Security also attended the meeting.  The Interior Minister welcomed the US official, valuing his crime-fighting expertise and the high level of security he achieved while assuming his previous duties as the Mayor of New York. He informed him about the Interior Ministry's efforts to maintain security, pointing out ongoing development in this respect. The meeting also spotlighted issues of common concern. (MOI)
