Bahrain's Foreign Minister receives US delegation

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court today, a high-level delegation from the United States of America, headed by Former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani.    The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed the high-level delegation, expressing Bahrain's appreciation of its strategic, historical and growing relations of friendship with the USA. He also praised bilateral cooperation at all levels, adding that these relations are based on solid foundations of trust and mutual respect. He stressed keenness of both counties to further enhance these relations for their common interest. The delegation expressed pride in visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising historical relations between both countries. They also underlined the US’ interest to continue working with the Kingdom of Bahrain for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
