Bahrain's Electricity Minister receives new Pakistan envoy

Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Afzal Mahmoud, Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain. The minister praised the strong ties between the two countries, reinforced by cooperation in various fields. He wished the Ambassador all the best in his work, and reviewed with him the most prominent projects being implemented in these areas, and investment opportunities available to Pakistani companies in this sector. The ambassador expressed his great pleasure to see such great progress made by Bahrain in the sector of electricity, water and renewable energy. He expressed the desire of Pakistani companies to participate in these projects according to the possible opportunities and activate further cooperation in these fields. He stressed his readiness to strengthen this existing cooperation to serve all interests and aspirations.
