Bahrain's ambassador to Vatican presents credentials copy

Roma, Dec. 29 (BNA): His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin , Secretary of State of His Holiness Pope Francis, received at his office in the Vatican Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Abdullah, Bahrain's Ambassador to the French Republic, who presented copies of his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Vatican City State. The ambassador conveyed the greetings of the leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain to H.E Cardinal Pietro Parolin, stressing its firm resolve to expand the relations with Vatican particularly in areas of dissemination of tolerance and peace principles across the world. His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin congratulated the ambassador on his appointment to this post and pledged to offer him every support to succeed in his mission. He also hailed the active role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the dissemination of the principles of co-existence and tolerance in the region, praising the religious freedom exercised by the followers of other religions in Bahrain.
