Bahraini women's active role hailed

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Dr. Mustafa Sayed hailed the big role of Bahraini women in serving the community. He praised the tremendous support given to Bahraini women in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also lauded the support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
The RCO Secretary General commended the directives of Representatives of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and RCO Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to provide comprehensive care for widows and orphans registered with RCO. This came on the occasion of Bahraini women's Day which is observed on December 1 and celebrated this year under the theme "Women in the Legislative and Municipal Field". The occasion is marked in line with an initiative by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), who plays a major role in empowering Bahraini women as part of the major royal reform project.
Dr. Mustafa Sayed extended heartfelt congratulations to HRH Princess Sabeeka, Bahraini women and all the Bahraini society on the national occasion which mirrors the great care given to Bahraini women as an active and influential partner in the kingdom's development process. He pointed out women's contribution to various sectors in the kingdom, stressing RCO's role in providing care and support to Bahraini widows and orphans.
