Bahraini supportive stances toward Palestinian cause recognized

Manama, Sep 9 (BNA): Palestinian Embassy in Bahrain, in the presence of a number of ambassadors, held a ceremony to honour Chief of Customs Affairs, vice president of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and Regional Representative of North Africa, Near and Middle East countries, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, In recognition of his role in supporting the State of Palestine's accession to the WCO. Customs Chief, in a statement to Bahrain News Agency, underlined the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on supporting all Arab issues, chiefly the Palestinian cause, taking pride in the honour bestowed on him. He stressed that Palestine's accession to the WCO is an Arab and Palestinian benchmark achievement, explaining that the WCO comprises 175 countries concerned with trade and economic affairs among the countries of the world. He expressed deepest condolences on the martyrdom of brave Bahraini soldiers while carrying out their sacred national duty within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to support legitimacy, restoring security and stability in Yemen. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the martyrs in eternal peace and bless their families with patience and solace. Palestinian Ambassador praised the royal directives on supporting the Palestinian cause in particular and Arab issues in general, commending the solid fraternal bilateral relations. MJ
