Bahraini leaders congratulate UK prime minister

Manama, May 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has sent a cable of congratulations to the UK Prime Minister David Cameron following the Conservative Party’s winning of the general elections. HM King Hamad lauded the outstanding relations bonding the two friendly countries for more than 200 years, expressing hope to work jointly to consolidate and develop them further for the common benefits of the two kingdoms and their peoples. His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, sent similar congratulatory cables to the British Prime Minister David Cameron.
