Bahraini, Jordanian monarchs hold talks

Manama, Nov 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today held talks with the Jordanian Monarch HM King Abdulla II ibn Al-Hussein on the outstanding deep-rooted bilateral relations, and ways to bolster them in various fields in the interest of the two kingdoms and their people. HM the King took pride in the historical solid Bahraini-Jordanian relations and joint coordination at all levels. The two leaders underlined keenness to further develop aspects of cooperation to meet the aspirations of their people for more progress and prosperity. HM the King hailed the supportive stances of the Kingdom of Jordan led by HM King Abdulla II ibn Al-Hussein toward the Kingdom of Bahrain, the just causes of the Arab nation and the march of joint Arab action. The two leaders reviewed the regional and international development and coordinating stances. They stressed the importance of reinforcing Arab solidarity, at this important stage, to meet the challenges witnessed by the region, which require intensifying consultation and coordination. Regional and international efforts to counter terrorism and extremism to maintain the security and stability in the region were also discussed, in addition to topics of mutual interest.
